In 2022, we established the
Antonin Artaud Scholarship
to support artists in the field of performative art in Ukraine. The project is focused on finding progressive theatrical forms and supporting chamber experimental formats.
The program includes:
• Financial and organizational support of works in progress projects in the direction of performative art
• Mentoring and consulting
• Networking and exchange of experience
• Educational events
As part of the pilot round of the scholarship (November-December, 2022), 17 artists presented 4 works in progress, 3 educational lectures were held and attended by about 80 people. 8 experts were also involved in the selection process to mentor and review performers' concepts, they held at least 10 individual discussions with fellows during the preparation process.
Our team is accumulating funds for the next round of Scholarships in 2023. The main goal is the enlargement and strengthening of the accompanying educational program which is open to a wider range of professionals in the field of performing arts.
